Getting Started with Madar People
Follow these five steps to go from an empty workspace to an operational HR system.
Prerequisites
- An active Madar People account (request one from your administrator).
- A modern browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari — latest two versions).
- If you're an admin: your company's legal name, primary location, and the email of at least one initial employee.
The 5 essential steps
1. Sign in to the app
Open the app and sign in with your work email. New users will be guided through password setup and (if enabled) multi-factor authentication.
2. Create your company
The onboarding guard will block you from any dashboard module until at least one company exists. Fill in the basic profile, then save.
3. Add your first employee
Add yourself or another employee. The system unlocks the rest of the dashboard once one employee record exists.
4. Configure roles & approval workflows
Assign roles to users (admin, HR admin, employee) and set up approval flows for salary changes, status changes, and official letter requests.
5. Invite your team
Add the remaining employees, link them to their user accounts, and share the End-User Guide link with them.
Troubleshooting
- I can't see any modules in the dashboard — The onboarding guard is active. Make sure you've created a company and at least one employee record.
- My request is stuck "In Approval" — An HR approver must act on it from Workflow → Inbox.
- I don't see the Arabic translations — Switch the language from the top-right language toggle.
